A little about me
Hi, I’m Sarah – a wedding and portrait photographer, storyteller, and proud mum to four amazing humans (plus a very chilled dog). I live by the sea in beautiful Sidmouth, Devon, and feel incredibly lucky to call this creative, coastal corner of the world home.
I specialise in natural, documentary-style wedding photography, capturing real moments as they unfold – full of joy, connection, and honest emotion. But my love of photography runs far deeper than weddings alone.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of people, projects, and places – from festivals and creative businesses to schools, universities, and arts organisations. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work recognised in some pretty cool ways – including being a Portrait of Britain winner in 2021, and picking up an award from NineDots and the Documentary Family Awards.
No matter the subject, my approach is always the same – to photograph with honesty, empathy, and a deep love for people and their stories. I’ve been told my superpower is making people feel at ease, allowing them to be themselves and forget the camera is even there. I give a lot of myself to create an atmosphere of trust, allowing people to relax so I can capture their most genuine moments, even when time is limited.
